Seems like the simple, standard installation from what I gather. Just extract from the archive, then copy into your Railworks folder, usually located here: C: (or whatever your steam installation is in)/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Railworks .

Having downloaded and extracted the file there is a Assets folder
Copy the folder to your Railworks\Assets folder

    That should work

I already done that. I think the probem is that this sound mod is for the Talent 2 loco dlc, and i don´t have it... I only have the Talent 2 included on the Nuremberg route.

You have answered your own question

Sound mods will only work with the assets they are designed for
You could try coping the files to the Nuremberg route but you would have to look where they need to go
Not just a copy and paste

More of a question for people who use US content, I know Krellnut has a great sound pack, but I've noticed, particularly on Sherman Hill, Peninsula Corridor and Feather River Canyon, there are some amazing default sounds. I want to apply them to the rest of the US wagons in my game. I renamed the .dav files and copied them to the asset that I wanted to use them on - They didn't work. What did I do wrong?

You must've not referenced them in the respective .proxyxml file. You can open it with notepad, and then make sure to change the references accordingly.
