I have noticed in Nora Turn I have parts 1,2,5,6,7,8,9 and 10 but no parts 3 and 4. Anyone know why? Do they have to be unlocked or is it a bug?
For various annoying reasons parts 3 and 4 don't show up in the filter. If you play part 2, it will run on into part3 and then 4 - alternatively, run them via the journey mode as all the parts are shown in there. The reason they don't show is something to do with how it determines what the driven vehicle is - so you're sorting by SD40, but the lead vehicle in this consist is actually a wagon... not a loco... since the loco's are in the middle. Thank you Matt for the speedy reply, I didn't think of looking in journey mode as I don't often use journey mode will try that way.
This is a beautiful example of how ambiguous logic creates more issues than it solves. From my 40 years of experience as a software developer, I'd strongly advise avoiding this kind of "logic" at all costs.
