We don't know yet as they haven't released their intended route map (ie what branches they're going to include, if any)
You'd have to think the slow lines via Redhill would be included. Otherwise, once you depart Gatwick it's only two stops (East Croydon and Clapham Junction) for trains from Brighton etc, and the slow line stations between the airport and Redhill would never be used - thus making this part of the Rush Hour route 'empty'. The amount of requests seen from on the forums for a GWR Class 166 layer would disappoint a vast amount of people alone if not included. I can't remember exactly but am I right that the upcoming Dresden Rush Hour route is going to feature a few branches on the 65-mile route? So, I'm thinking could DTG be adventurous and include branches on BML to Reigate which is one stop, Horsham (four stations in between Three Bridges and here) and/or even the spur to Lewes which is two stops after Wivelsfield (Plumpton and Cooksbridge) which will at least give us the impression we are on the way to East Coastway. Peoples thoughts on this?
Yes very true, don't want to get mine or anyone else's hopes up, but I think it's good to speculate nonetheless.
I tend to think the complete opposite. Speculation usually leads to disappointment, so I don't bother
The route length listed on the steam page is 50 miles, the exact same as the Train Simulator version. It should be an exact copy of that, so if the redhill line is there, it will be here as well. (I don’t know, I don’t have the Train Simulator version).
Well unless they add fictional stations, or the entirety of South London, what are you expecting from an add on called “London to Brighton”?
