I don't know Mat's name so, I can't tag him or pm him in here and there's also the possibility the following may have already have been pointed out to him but, as a noob to Steam, I've just been wandering through the settings and found a setting that you can set so, you can tell Steam to only update between certain times. Which theoretically means no more steam update interruptions just before livestreams.
Unfortunately all that means is that steam will automatically update between those hours, as soon as there is an update for a game you have to update it before you can play, as you can see from my picture I can't play until the game is updated. And his name is spelt Matt, just so you know for future, and we are not meant to tag staff unless there is a big problem.
Apologies to Matt for incorrectly spelling his name. As I said I'm a Steam noob so, thanking you for your correction Wolfovizer. I would delete this thread seeing as it seems to be as useful as a teapot made of chocolate in hell but, can't find the option.
Appreciate the thought but yeah there's not much can be done unfortunately with a branch that updates as often as our development branch Thanks!
