We now know that the era for the West Cornwall route is 1991 - 2010.
Wouldn’t it be great if the actual date it was set on was 11 August 1999? Brownie points for the first person to tell me why.

Clue: take a trip just after 11am.

She’d be Lost in France.... but you’ve got the idea.

It would be great if it could be simulated, with all the birds getting confused and making a right noise as well.

I was sat on Plymouth Hoe but sadly it was cloudy. We still got the effect of the darkness though. I heard that parts of West Cornwall got a clear view though. Of course, in the game you can set the weather conditions to suit.

I was working in Sheffield at the time and my colleagues got a great view but it was only a partial eclipse there.

I got a clear view up north and the best thing that you still get to witness with partial eclipses is that when the light shines through the trees, it produces lots of little crescent shapes on the ground, as the little gaps between the leaves and branches essentially form little pinhole cameras, so you get all these dancing crescents of light on the floor. It was beautiful. I would love to see a total eclipse (of the... not going there) of the sun.
