First Look For Tsw 2 In Ue 5 In Railfan Live

hello I have a idea as you know EU 5 can now not be used completely and so it would be great to have a live preview on EU 5 editor.

 

That's assuming they have even started using the UE5.

 

I think this should wait until the DTG extensions have been tested and known to be working on UE5, though I would imagine one or two devs have already downloaded the new engine and given it a go...
No need to be pushing ahead of this envelope, knowing this community would jump all over them with "why's this not working" even when it's known to be still in development

 

Also this poll has many issues

1. Yes or no on a for/against Question makes no sense. Is that a "yes I'm for it or a yes I'm against it" and the same applies to no. I presume no is against and for is yes.
2. Why would a for/against question have multiple choices anyway.

 

The UE5 early access has just been released last week, so the engine itself is not production-ready yet. It will be a looong time before we see anything TSW related made in UE5 (if ever), or in the game industry in general.

DTG is just upgrading to UE 4.26 in the coming TSW update.

 

Hold that thought. Keep it safe. Come back and ask it in a couple of years time. It’s far too soon for anything UE5 in TSW. It’s just not relevant yet.
