The London-Brighton line, I don't understand what happened. As I drive a 4 cars train from Brighton to Preston Park at Quick Drive, when I stop at the marker of 4 cars, there are just the two cars behind open the doors. And when I drive a 6 cars train on the same trip, when I stop at the front of platform, it just the tail car open the doors! But when I drive the trip on free roam, all the doors can open when the 6 cars train stop at the front, what's going on?

This is normal. I think Danny did something on the South London to Brighton merge, at least as far as South London Network goes, to extend platforms and fix those errors, but something was apparently wrong on the original route and I imagine there would need to be a generic patch posted to fix this issue so the doors open. I have pulled into, I think, Hassocks and parked properly with my car right at the end of the platform, and doors at the front and back (it's a 12 car train) won't open because it's barely off the edge. I think the markers for door opening need to be extended. Others, meanwhile, just don't open halfway down the platform. I don't get it.

I took videos of all scenarios, you'll see them sooner or later.

The multi-level cab car of NJ Transit also usually cannot open the doors.

The 4 Car Stop Board at Preston Park is too far down the platform
I stopped near the train display board and all doors on the 4 car train opened

The rear cab was next to the Southbound 4 car stop board

So in other words, the stations on the route need a revamp. Not surprising. Was good for 2013 standard, but today we are picky.

Most people don't bother going outside to see if the doors have opened or not so won't have noticed or be bothered

If they are on commute, which door is open is important.

It is a game - I don't think the digital passengers who don't get on or off the train are bothered

If this is other cartoon game, you are right, this is a simulation game, why the train do not open door as it stop at right position? If a train do not open door of middle coach when in normal flight, it is incident.

Because the 4 Car Stop board is not in the right position
Stop next to the Departure Boards and the doors do open - as per my pictures

But in the Clapham Junction, the 4cars marker can let the train open the doors well. Then why Preston Park can't? Maybe Cyclone is right.

The train has to be in the correct place for the doors to open.
The Stop Markers are NOT in the correct place at every station

Anyhow - you seem to think the route has a problem - hove you reported it to DTG?

I have taken video, as I said, of every scenario. I could go back and locate many times doors did not open. But you know, Peter, that they won't be likely to touch their 2013 route. Even if all they have to do is move a few 4 car stop signs.

Regarding what benhhng stated, I was particularly discussing 12 car stops with both the front and back cars not opening, and the middle did. That is an indication that the platforms are not long enough, even if the stop markers match the full length of the platform. Because a tiny part of each side of the train wound up outside the range on an 8 car train, but I am trying to remember that - even with the doors on the platform itself - the doors did not open. I think even at Coulsdon Town some door didn't open, but I am not reviewing the video for that scenario as I say that. The scenario for that one ended there, no idea beyond that.

I don't know what benhhng is expecting.
We know there are faults with the route and as you say DTG are unlikely to touch a route from 2013.
It is possible the stop area on some of the platforms is set wrong

There is a fix on UKTS where you can add points that weather does not affect things. The downside, if you use it for scenarios, is that it would likely be a requirement and possibly no good for the Workshop, so users would have to have their own copies to move the scenarios to.

Been like that since the route was released in 2013 - a number of routes do that

Mind you the TSW Rapid Transit route also had it raining in the underground station :D

Clearly, the roof sprung a leak. They ought to go patch that...

Even the 8 cars stop at the 8 cars marker, just the 3 cars behind open.
