Since the TSW route has been made, many changes have taken place. For this Sandpatch Modernization, a new timetable would be put into place, and new safety systems would be implemented.

    New Locomotives:

    GE ES44AH-

    CSXT 700-839
with low numberboards and in YN3[IMG]
CSXT 840-950 with high numberboards and in YN3 [IMG]
CSXT 951-999 and 3000-3250 with high numberboards and in YN3b [IMG]
CSXT 911, 1776, and 3194 in special spirit paint schemes

    GE ET44AH-

    CSXT 3251-3474 in YN3b[IMG]

    EMD ST70AH- https://locomotive.fandom.com/wiki/EMD_SD70ACe-
    CSXT 8900-8909 in YN3b [IMG]

With these modern locomotives, they all have PTC implemented, and are all capable for DPU (Distributed Power Unit) service. Instead of the current manned helpers on Sandpatch Grade, you will have the option to have a Mid or Rear DPU, or just 2 locomotives on the head end of the train. Another system implemented on the GE ES44AH, and GE ET44AH, is Trip Optimizer which limits the amount of fuel consumption. All current locomotives on Sandpatch Grade (GP38-2, SD40-2, AC4400CW, and Dash 8) will have PTC implemented due to it being required on all locomotives operating in the USA. The GP38-2 and SD40-2 will be limited to mostly switching duties within the yard, but if you want to drive them on a road train, then you will have one put in front of 2 modern locomotives. Speaking of the yard, the hump yard has been torn out, and would be a cool change to have made within the game. Now to the AC4400CW and Dash 8. These locomotives would also be infrequent to be leading a train, but would be able to be a trailing locomotive on all trains. These locomotives do not have DPU capability, therefor any train with a DPU operating would not be able to have these locomotives leading.

Excellent proposal and from what I can see these locomotives which are ES44AH ST70AH & ET44AH can be reskinned into Union Pacific paint for future Union Pacific routes. ES44AH are 7500s Union Pacific ET44AH UP 2500s-2600s and ST70AH Union Pacific 3000-3250.

Perhaps DTG could also remove trucks and workers from the Glade City road crossing? I'm sure that the road works are long over after so many years ;)

The idea for such a variety of scenery is nice, but after a few years it looks silly and unrealistic. In Train Simulator, we were able to remove and add elements of the scenery ourselves, including road works and track repairs, but TSW2 has a closed architecture, so if developers want to play with such periodic details, it would be nice if every now and then, let's say once a year, they released a minor update.

Can see some of this happening, but removing the hump is too big I think.

The GEVOs and ST70AH are a must. A 3GS21B Genset would be perfect for switching in the yard.

Do they really run Gensets at Cumberland? I thought CSX mostly used them in New York and places like that.

Also one thing I forgot to mention earlier. Even with DPU manned helpers at the rear still are a thing. Mid will be unmanned though.

No... CSX sold off the Gensets a few years back. Typically in Cumberland they use SD40-2/-3s, GP38-2/-3s, and GP40-2/-3s with RCO capabilitys, or sometimes, 6 axle GE locomotives such as the GEVOs or AC4400CWs
