Lirr And Nycsubway.....east Side Access Project;

New York City's ambitious goal of connecting Long Island Railroad through Penn Station to the New York City Subway Lines

 

I would absolutely love to see the "A-" line from the New York City subway system added and be able to connect to the LIRR, through Penn Station.

They should definitely include the Babylon Branch and the dual mode diesel locomotives to the lirr Dlc.

 

I've been saying it here in the forums the Babylon branch and for the flyer trains you can run them to 80 mph am & pm rush hours

 

It would be great to feature the NYC subway in TSW. The closest that we have for the NYC subway in TSW2 is the elevated trestles for the 7 Line on Queens Blvd southeast of Queensboro Plaza, the elevated trestles for the 7 line at Woodside, and the tunnel portal for the J/Z trains on Jamaica Avenue. I hope at some point in the near future, more DLC is developed for the LIRR. Some other TSW routes have 3-5 DLC content but the LIRR only has the M3 and M7. It would be great if the DE/DM30 and C3's, along with the M9 and MP15AC get developed for the LIRR with a possible route extension.

 

Yeah it would I definitely would like to see the Babylon/patchouge Branch with the DE/DM30 and C3’s cabcar with the new rush hour package maybe it will come sometime in the future.

It wouldn't fit in the timeline of the route. The east side access project won't be completed until 2022 and lirr is set in 2018 I believe so this won't happen at all. Perhaps sugesst a long island railroad line like the Babylon Branch or the West Hempstead Branch

 

I would definitely like to see the Babylon Branch sometime soon on TSW 2 in the future.

 

I suggested the Babylon branch. Check my signature for that route. The 2022 schedule might give Babylon Branch services to Penn Station and Grand Central terminal 8-12 car trains 8 car trains rush hours only Atlantic Terminal.

 

maybe the lirr Babylon route could get released into rush hour someday in the future.

 

Speaking of LIRR Babylon Branch Stations like Massapequa Park Bellmore and Wantagh have Express services during Rush hours.

 

Yeah I definitely hope it will be one of the routes for rush hour in the fall or winter.

 

If they do the Babylon Branch for rush hour hopefully they’ll include the M3 Locomotive M7 locomotive and the Dual mode diesel locomotives .
