It would be amazing if these locomotives would be available on SPG just like the CRR SD40 is available.
What you are looking there is this term transcontinental Freight that means a Union Pacific locomotive is coupled to CSX locomotive. In the case of SPG and Cane Creek a Potash freight brendel Utah Port of Baltimore via SPG.
On the real SPG, BNSF, CN, and UP are pretty common to see as run-through power on Manifests, Ethanol Trains, and Grain Trains. Sometimes even Autoracks. In the time period SPG is set in, any foreign power was quite common to see on any type of train
Thank you for telling me about this and perhaps DTG & Skyhook Games needs to work together to activate UP locomotives on SPG as a Port of Baltimore service from California and Utah. CN requires Oakville subdivision to be activated
The only thing about having CN on SPG is there is no appropriate locomotive to do this with, as geeps usually stay within yards, and rarely leave their home system
Ok then but how about reskinned SD70M Ace tier 4s and ET44AC/ET44AH since all North American freight railroads have them. Looks like only UP can layer to SPG due to them having AC4400CW
Yes, it would be nice to have the UP AC44s and SD40-2s layer into SPG, but if that happens, I don't want to see a UP loco 1 out of 5 or even 1 out of 10 locos that spawn. Keep it realistic, but also don't make it so you don't see a single UP every 10 hours of gameplay.
I want the SD70ACe-T4 and ET44AC in both CSX and UP paint. A CN version of the ET44AC for the Canadian route is necessary, too. Actually, only UP and CSX have SD70ACe-T4s on their rosters.
