The District Line is a route with 60 stations and 40miles of track. The line starts from Ealing Broadway in the west to Upminster in the East. The branch lines are: Richmond, Edgware Road and Wimbledon. Between Edgware Road and Tower Hill the District Line shares track with the Circle line and between Aldgate East and Barking it shares track with the Hammersmith and City Line. Because of this it would be nice to see H&C Line AI between Aldgate East to Barking and Circle Line AI between Edgware Road and Tower Hill. We could possibly be seeing Circle Line services to drive since some services run Between Edgware Road and Mansion House.

The Rolling stock included would be the S Stock if set after 2017 when the S Stock replaced the D Stock. Or we could have the D Stock and S Stock with the route being set between 2013 and 2017. Or the route could be set when the S Stock was replacing the C Stock services between Edgware Road to Wimbledon which was Between in 2013.

Terminus station would be: Ealing Broadway, Richmond, Edgware Road, Wimbledon, Earls Court (Bay platform), Tower Hill (Bay Platform), Barking (Bay Platform) and Upminster. (There is also Mansion House but it is used for Circle Line services). Depots are at Ealing Common, Upminster and Lillie Bridge.

Off Peak service since December 2012 is:

6 tph (trains per hour) Ealing Broadway - Upminster
    6 tph Richmond - Upminster
6 tph Wimbledon - Tower Hill (3 out of 6 continue to Barking)
6 tph Wimbledon - Edgware Road

It would also be very nice if DTG could add announcements as this is a long wanted feature in TSW 2 and as its London Underground it will add to the immersion.

I love this idea. There is a freeware version on TS classic (albeit with DLC requirements) which is pretty good but only covers the western half at the moment. As we have the Bakerloo on TSW, a cut and cover line would be welcomed by me.

I usually prefer leaving the tube aside as we have Bakerloo, however this would be good with the Circle line and H&C line added in full to create that 'network' feel.
After all it's a good length even with that.
    I agree with this.

Excellent idea and what is needed to here it bringing in a third party that has done underground subsurface trains that will be just trains from train simulator 21. In that way the TSW2 don't just become bashing Rivet Games for IOW and Arosa Line. Sister Game train simulator 21 just trains make London Underground Metropolitan line should be them making District Line

I think the District Line would be a great line to have only 40 miles in total and only 6 miles or so longer than the Great Western Paddington to Reading also driving the C Stock and the D Stock would be great as my dad now retired worked as a driver on the District Line for 30 years

I like this idea, though I dont think we should have another Tube line, and instead we have a new subway system, like the NYC subway exedra

I agree with the New York City subway system idea, but i don't see anything wrong with the District Line we do need another tube line as i liked the Bakerloo Line but was to short only 14 miles

Excellent route. Over an hour journey between Southwestern London & Upminster.

Definitely but i don't think they would do the whole District Line not because of the length because of the time and cost to make the full route especially where the line seperates after Earl's Court to either Wimbledon Richmond and Ealing Broadway West Bound then Upminster and Edgware Road East Bound

Some trains from Upminster will terminate @ Kensington.

That's true my dad worked on the District Line for 30 years as a driver. My dad's favourite stock was the C-Stock as he said was a great train and had very little problems

How about between Ealing Broadway or Richmond & Tower Hill? A 45 minute ride with over 20 stations.

That's a good route Wimbledon to Tower Hill, But its to short why not Wimbledon to Upminster 42 stations and 1 hour 20 min approx, or Ealing Broadway \ Richmond to Upminster or Barking

I'd love to see the district line but tbh I'd be happy with any London underground route I'm genuinely surprised DTG didn't include one in rush hour

Given the amount of German routes we have and other various UK routes, why would it be a bad idea to add another London Underground route? We could still see the New York Subway featured, I’m sure there’s room for both?

I'd love to see that but the District line would be the hardest one to do (among all 11) so I think chances of seeing the District line are actually pretty slim...

I can't see how The District Line would be hard to do. Yes the Northern Line is shorter 36 miles where the District Line is 40 miles. Can you explain why you think the District Line would be harder to make

I’m not a driver yet, but I do work on the Central line (stations). I’d love to have a Central line route in the game.

I think that one of the Metropolitan or District would be good to add instead of another deep-level tube line as the sub surface would have more variety in the scenery due to the way they were built. Personally, I would prefer the met but that may be due to my use of the met over the years.
