When i drive in the rain sometimes, the rain sounds too loud like it's hailing instead of raining and after a while i get a headache, but rarely. But since i'm not sure, i wanted to ask you for your opinion about the rain sound.
I found driving in the rain intolerable until I installed londonmidland's mod. Unfortunately, that's not an option on PS.
I have no problem with the rain, but the windscreen wiper on both the Bakerloo (72 Stock) route and Cathcart Circle (Class 314) could cause serious damage to your audio equipment, your hearing and your sanity. There is also a German loco - can't remember which one, that has a wiper sound with an infinite range.... so you can walk out of the loco and head half way down the station and still hear the wiper, but not hear the traction motors.
I mainly notice how noisy the rain is on North American routes. It’s most noticeable for me when doing an Oakville Subdivision run in the rain, because I assume it isn’t realistic for the rain to drown out the noise of a GP38-2.
Thanks for the feedback guys, i wish i was on PC to install the mod but unfortunately i am dependent on DTG
