Recently my computer updated itself, however when the update finished and I went on to steam I found that Train Sim had uninstalled. It now requires me to do a full reinstall. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so how they got around it.

    Thanks in advance

I keep my W10 system up to date. I've seen my share of Windows 10 updates, but I can't imagine how Microsoft's engineers would know to uninstall a game from Steam. I'm thinking something else happened, maybe Steam update?

More than likely there is a dependent system that's been updated rather than steam or trainsim itself. Try a repair of trainsim before reinstalling

I had a similar issue but I got the option to repair it, it did download a few files but then it was working as it normally does.
