Hi All Have made this for anyone who wants to post there pictures and videos as well as any news they have found. Enjoy.
313 201 at shoreham by sea station on the west Coastway : Brighton to Portsmouth harbour & Southampton central
I guess it makes more sense to have another thread like this in the Off Topic section of TSW, as it would see more traffic than the TS1 post.
Three more in the fall of 2020 even though not much freight traffic still cool. And then the other one At my home yard empty as always.
Was at Portsmouth & Southsea today and got this impressive looking picture of Southern Class 377/131 with a pair of old/new South Western Class 450s.
Yep, arrived on the London Victoria-origin service, while the train departed back again relatively quickly to clear the 450 behind it.
Here is a 101 in arriving into Frankfurt circa 2014 when I travelled from Frankfurt to Hamburg on one, they are much dirtier in real life than in the game! And here was Hamburg a few hours later on arrival, it's a shame TSW can't capture the truly amazing spectacle of this station, it has a real sense of occasion, everything just seems to work brilliantly, the multiple levels, the amount of rail traffic, even the corporate logos just seem to add to the drama of it all. Would recommend any journey that takes you through here! (Bonus appearance of the ICE-TD and high door dostos too)
Did you even read the message ? Luke8899 clearly said ‘bonus apperance of the ICE-TD and the high door dostos too
Disruption on the Great Western this evening led to the unusual sight of four Class 345's in platforms 9 to 12 at Paddington. These units are usually in and out in around 10 minutes or so more than a couple in the station is unusual.
https://www.itv.com/news/westcountr...un-out-of-money-unless-vital-funds-are-raised I found this about West Somerset Railway and it is local to me
DB BR 101...Ehm, FS Class E402B in Frecciabianca (WhiteArrow) livery and composition aka Intercity service. Similar service (IC Notte/Night) but 20 years ago. (FS Class E444R) Furthermore, if anyone is interested, on this Channel they will find several cab rides (concerning the high speed and the traditional line) regarding the Italian railway. High-speed trains use the new level 2 ETCS system. -> Theitaliantraindrivers - YouTube And this is the news, here on Paris Gare de Lyon for some test (maybe a day on the LGV Marseille-Avignon...on TSW2)
LGV* yeah it’s one of the 2 sets in test in France it was supposed to be in service in 2020 for some Paris-Milan and Paris-Marseille services but COVID changed the plan but in TSW2 I don’t see the point of including it like the Duplex RD it’s better to extend the route to Lyon like in TS
Did a little bit of railfanning around northwest Ohio. Might make a YouTube video with the footage I got.
The Rocky Mountaineer continues to make its test trips between Denver, Co and Moab, Ut. Whats interesting is that they are leasing the pair of SD70Ms from Union Pacific, and both locomotives may get repainted in the future for the "Rockies to Red Rock" train that the RM will start in August. https://www.trains.com/trn/news-rev...hoto-rocky-mountainteer-test-run-in-colorado/
Taken just after my shift on the train the beautiful carmillon-STIF livery being replaced by the IDFM one, a Z50000 stoping at Viroflay Rive-Droite:
Santa Fe 2926 has been fired up for the 1st time in 68 years.... https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=175648924627412
Both videos are by Eisenbahn Videos NRW und Deutschland. These are filmed in Wuppertal the Rhein-Ruhr Osten route From these two videos the DB BR110 family known as the Standard Electric locomotive Einheitslokomotiven are in operation despite being built in the mid to late 1950s.
Saw Bahamas at Bishops Lydeard pulling the West Somerset Steam Express London Paddington-Minehead but I am aware of it went as far as Watchet
That can be a DLC locomotive for West Somerset Railway in addition to the base Diesel Locomotives Class 09 47 Green DLC Class 52 & 33
Correction: That was the first time it ever moved under its own power for the 1st time in 68 years. NMSL&RHS has done fire ups with the engine under steam before that at open houses and other points in time for tests and the sort.
I was very fortunate to visit Madrid Puerta de Atocha station for a trip to Valencia the other day. I had a lot of fun seeing all the AVE high speed trains covered in squished bugs. P.S. Bring Spain to TSW! xD
An old fashioned cab ride video from a Santa Fe F7, credit to Pentrex and Railfan Depot for the short clip. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=367586924762092
The first route with a speed of 200 km / h is currently being built in the Czech Republic. It will open next year and will have ETCS. Next year in the Czech Republic, the maximum speed will not be 160, but 200 km
Those are some dramatic shots! ————————————————————————————————————————————- Anyways yesterday I went to Sheffield, the home of the sprinters. Also the meridians are REALLY LOUD, so loud I couldn’t hear myself talk lol!
