    Hello,

Just purchased CSX HH + GP40-2.
It look amazing, but sexy looks doth not a simulator make.

    Bit disappointing to see that:

    There's no wheel slip.
I can drive as fast as I like, but I don't derail.
    There's absolutely no cab sway.
The throttle at different notches stops the train going beyond a certain speed. I'm aware of some UK DMUs that to this, but US locos? I think not.

I assume, as this is titled as a simulator, you'll be including this basic functionality at some point.

Do you have an ETA for these features please?

    Kind regards,

    Pad.

You can derail. Also, there are diesel electric physics upgrades coming. Cab sway, I do believe is on the way.

Thank you for taking the time to reply Anthony.

My I ask how you got a TSW train to derail? I was doing in excess of 40mph through a set of points with a 15mph speed limit, the locos didn't derail, nor did the wagons.
I'm very glad to hear that there are patches on the way to improve these core features. I don't suppose anyone knows when these are scheduled for release?

Once again, thank you for taking the time to help.

    Pad.

Just because you are going fast through a junction it doesn't mean you will derail. Trains only derail if they exceed the safe limit by a significant speed, and up till that the wheel and rails are just causing wear on each other because of the high speed.
