I have to say I'm impressed by this route. The trees and vegetation are the best yet in an RSSLO route and some of the mountain views are breath-taking. Other details are nice, like the different types of tunnel lining and the abandoned/superseded infrastructure along parts of it. The drive's interesting and there's a little bit of a network at the top end to add interest.
