Hello, Wondering if it's just me. After driving the trains to the end of the line and when you finally get the cars split and the rear engines ready to move, as soon as you sit in engineer's chair it says derail despite the train not moving. Anyone else gotten this already? Kinda sucks to have this type of error right out of the gate.
Maybe add here gets a better chance of getting looked at https://forums.dovetailgames.com/forums/technical-reports.80/
I just got through this ok. I followed the instructions as they were given so not sure what happened in your case. You split the train, walk back and get in the cab nearest the wagons and it derails? When you arrived with the full train, did you go all the way to the buffer stops? If not then where you are sat after going to the rear locos is over the points I think so the points switch while the loco is sat on top and it will derail. Try going all the way forward to the buffer stop and ignore the blue stop marker when you try again
Hello. I tried and tried and the only thing that FINALLY worked was actually when I did the decoupling it asks to do when you arrive: I decoupled using the front car decoupler. It then moved a bit apart. That did it.
Hello. I twice tried moving forward further and no luck. The only thing that FINALLY worked was actually when I did the decoupling it asks to do when you arrive: I decoupled using the front car decoupler. For some reason I usually use the rear decoupler. That did it.
Yes???I'm going to do that then. I tried but with the car in the back too. You say that what I have to do is use the one in front and that's it?
Frustrating. There is also a problem with part 2 of Brendel to Moab. You need to couple to 26 vehicles. Somehow this isn’t registered by the program.
Thanks for the answers here. I tried and had a go. One thing I found was that I still derailed even after using the front wagon uncoupler. Because when uncoupling there was wagon movement, I suspect it may still have caused the derail. So on 2nd attempt, after stopping, I used 3rd camera to uncouple (front wagon), then I pulled the split train forward by half a wagon length - and then carried on with scenario as instructed. That time, worked fine. May not be the answer, but something else to try as that worked for me.
Yeah from what I've seen from Cane Creek it's not the best quality DLC now to be fair it is skyhooks first DLC but I'm happy I took a pass on this one there's just not enough there to make it worth it I don't think but whom I did Judge most of the DLCs are pretty good just not this one
