Today, I am suggesting the Glasgow Subway for TSW 2.

Most of the information can be found in this video.

The Glasgow Subway is a small, 1 Line Subway System, serving the city of Glasgow in Scotland. It runs fully underground (Excluding the Depot), in a complete circle. It runs for 6 and a Half Miles and has 15 Stations.

It would be nice to have another Subway System in TSW, and while yes, it is fully underground, and may not have the best scenery, It could still be a fun router to operate on.

Personally if this was ever made. I wouldn't buy it. I could see this route getting boring quite quickly. It wouldn't be interesting to drive on in my opinion and train as well leaves much to be desired

To be perfectly honest, I dont see the Glasgow Subway will ever come to TSW, I don’t think it would be appealing for other players as its just going around in circles if it is in the Outer or Inner circle + i am not even sure if SPT would give out a Licence to be used in a game.

I rather have the London Underground Circle Line tbh with the s7 stock instead even though technically it isn't a circle line since it goes to Hammersmith. I can't see this route being that appealing

I wouldn't mind it considering it would be easy for DTG and hopefully cost bout £15 to £20

Yes! Bring it! It would be a very easy build compared to other routes.

It would need to be priced accordingly and as I mentioned on the other thread could be made interesting with a few scenarios. Myself, and others who have used the Glasgow Subway would be more than happy to give the developers some queues on what could be some realistic scenarios.

Just a small pedantic correction. Technically its two lines “inner circle” and “outer circle” but they all stop at the same stations. Just go in opposite directions. Govan is pronounced by the locals as “Guv-in.”

Been watching your Youtube videos recently. Great work.

Yes and if built it's going to be the first 4ft 1.219m track metro route. ATO Level 2 like Haputstrecke München Augsburg S-Bahn even though in the future it's going to be ATO Level 4

If they are gonna add the route, I believe that the new stock coming next year should be added, even if it may be fully automated

The old stock is much better - and has much more character. Plus you said yourself - the automation is a key factor in why it shouldn't be added. I'd rather not be a glorified passenger.

Yeah, I know it’s two lines, I just felt like it was a bit unnecessary to add into the video.

Also, it’s cool you’ve been watching some of my videos, thanks.

Could add both old and new stock for a bit of variety.

The new trains will initially have drivers when they are first put into service then become fully automated probably the following year. They can still be controlled manually if need be. The front section of the train as a seat section that folds up and a small control panel pops out.
