Opened In 1912 by the London And Northwestern Railway, the Croxley green branch is a railway built for competition with the Metropolitan Line, During The Time of the Beaching Axe caused services between Euston and Broad Street To Cease, which only left the shuttle to Watford Junction, the line closed in 1996 The loco/locos: The British Rail Class 313 is a dual-voltage electric multiple unit (EMU) train built by British Rail Engineering Limited's Holgate Road carriage works between February 1976 and April 1977 The second loco: The British Rail Class 104 diesel multiple units were built by Birmingham Railway Carriage and Wagon Company from 1957 to 1959. A product of British Rail's Modernisation Plan of 1954 The map: A video discussing the history of the line
This suggestion has to be a joke. I can imagine someone making this as a workshop route for TS as a little hobby but not as a TSW route made by a company expecting money for it. Even the video just has the station wasting away to nothing over a long period and nothing about the line. Yeah, definitely a joke.
Really excellent idea and if DTG wanted another proposed Railway that didn't get built the. this one can receive an underground line treatment. because this is really the Croxley to Watford Junction portion of the Metropolitan line extension. The sister game traun simulator 21 has a rivet games route that wasn't built in real life the Glasgow Airport link
Well what if the route is cheaper than 24.99 For example 11.99? also there is quite a lot of stuff on this line for example Watford Junction, and Network Southeast and Forests And London Suburbs, not to mention Watford Stadium, and Watford High Street, I don’t see anything wrong with it To be honest I understand it’s quite short and all, I get that but the route still looks quite stunning
I still don’t see the point. It would be too short with nothing much to do. A route that short would have to have a bit more interest than a few landmarks. I can’t see anyone making it for TSW.
I have to agree with you here its 3 stations 3 miles may as well make it apart of a West Coast Main Line suggestion
