I missed the announcement, do you have a link? EDIT1: Nvm, found it. Yeah that's a bit disappointing, more so the lack of Dresden Flughafen rather than the other branch. It's not a deal breaker for me though since the main line was what interested me the most. EDIT2: I've been disappointed with each and every Rivet DLC to TSW so far, so I'm hesitant to get my hopes up w.r.t. the new route. We'll see.
mixed feelings... the 150 better sound perfect. (it wont but theres sometimes light at the end of the tunnel unless your the Waterloo and City Line)
Honestly, I'm having mixed feelings about Cornwall. I'm excited to see a Sprinter at last, but I fear Rivet will screw the distance-scenery up. They can do close up scenery no problem but at a distance they struggle. And I hope they add trees - even if they are 2D (the ones a fair distance from the track) - to make it look better. I hope this seeming "Slow & Steady" approach helps them.
I am and am not to be honest. Sceptical for sure with it being rivet games. I will wait and see what its like on a stream first before purchase it.
I love the idea of this route, just not keen on Rivet making it. The timetable on Arosa was so poorly implemented, and it appears that they are slow to make necessary changes. I really hope they do a great job and prove me wrong. Now is the time to not make the same mistakes again. There is so much promise in this route.
Thank god Fight sim is coming out for the Xbox next week. Microsoft can take my money from here on out.
Not an Xbox player...but I am excited about WCL. Yes, it's going to be made by Rivet. Though I see this as an opportunity for them to redeem themselves. Class 150 is a solid choice. Might see another 43. I'll use both in other routes. Not sure if Rivet could work with AP for the sounds. DTG seems to have done that with good results, lately.
Actually given that Rivet have just released the Reigate extension for TS2021 and this branch has suddenly mysteriously been added to the London-Brighton Rush Hour route, I wonder if Rivet are developing this. They were heavily involved with Cathcart Circle after all. This might explain the slow movement with West Cornwall and the Bakerloo 1938 stock.
Like the theme of the complaints about the Dresden, I am concerned that without the Falmouth branch line, the Penzance- Truro route could end up being very much like the LGV, a very quick there and back, or an even quicker there and back on the St Ives line. BUT hell of course I am excited about it, when ever it comes out... D
The big difference here is that the Falmouth branch wasn't announced as an inclusion, although it would be nice to have.
I also think there is a more 'Slow & Steady' approach from Rivet at the moment, after the failures before now.
likewise. Game pass to give it a try first? You can download it now ready for Tuesday. Just shy of 100gb. Swapped the one X for series S this is pure gold, thank you for the laugh.
Dying for Flight Sim, excited for next week. Love my trains but after seeing this latest fiasco from DTG I think it’s time for a break.
