By the time the poor thing came out of the tunnel it wouldn't go more than 3mph so that last 4 miles was even worse. But, it had to be done. Paul
I typically run the gronk when I want to get the collectibles because it's that easy to just hop in and out of. I remember doing it for SEHS and I thought the tunnels would never end ha ha. You need a medal to run it the full length of Cane Creek ha ha.
Sometimes you just have to do it . I'd love to be able to run a whole train of them. If I do this again I might just let them roll in neutral and see if they go faster... TinTin_57 its the nearest thing we've got to a track inspection speeder in TSW2 and yes its great for hunting out collectibles.
Paul - funny stuff as usual! I might start using the Gronk for collectables too. I've been manually going to each station on foot via the Explore option thinking it would be quicker than 'driving'.
I would love a speeder or hi rail utility for collectibles. One day . Just to complete this silliness in about 20 minutes (starting 9am AEST) the two engines that came down the hill will be grinding their way back up live on stream - I'm calling it Gronkathon - no face cam, no talking, just two gronks grinding up from Potash to Brendel on Cane Creek Branch giving me something to look at while I work from home from our fifth lockdown since it all began. Paul
And the answer did they get up the hill? Yes they did... eventually, it took 2 hours and 13 minutes to get there and to my amazement some people watched, commented and joined in the fun. It made my day to watch them trundling along and occasionally adjust the throttle to keep them at a vaguely constant speed. Thanks to the viewers - you made my day. Paul
Moggy, the one and only Mod Moggy? We all know you like a good Gronk (who doesn't). Edit: and ice cream.
