The Fort William - Mallaig line is probably one of the most beautiful lines in the UK, including all sorts of landmarks such as:

    Ben Nevis
    The Famous Glenfinnan Viaduct
Near Mallaig you can see in the distance the Isle of Skye

This line could we’ll definitely be the most beautiful railway in TSW2 (if it ever gets added)

    The locos:

The British Rail Class 156 Super Sprinter is a diesel multiple-unit passenger train. A total of 114 sets were built between 1987 and 1989 for British Rail by Metro-Cammell's Washwood Heath works. They were built to replace elderly first-generation DMUs and locomotive-hauled passenger trains.

The Jacobite Steam Train, also known as the Harry Potter Hogwarts Express Train, runs between Fort William and Mallaig on the West Highland Line. The Hogwarts Express service for tourists runs from 2nd April to 29th October in 2021. Consequently it is possibly one of the most popular visitor attractions in the area.

famous landmarks you can see on the route:

Ben Nevis, the Tallest Mountain In Britain

The Glenfinnan Viaduct, this is famous due to it being in the famous film “Harry Potter”

    CONCLUSION

i think this route would definitely be a must for TSW2 being able to go over the Glenfinnan Viaduct and see out of the cab window, the tallest mountain in Britain would be a thrill and with a route length of 42 miles which is within DTG’s limit, and time to travel end to end is 1hr and 30 mins, overall a lovely route

Just to add to your suggestion I think the new Class 153 would make a great add-on, it has room for 20 bikes and an amazing livery. (not sure if it runs on the part of the line you're suggesting though?)

This was the first line my friend who lives on Skye asked if the game had, when I was talking about why all my friends should also get it.
    Definitely worth including!

Add a Class 37 like the TS2020 version.

    Great suggestion!

To add to your suggestion, why not have the class 73 with mk3/2/5 coaches for the Caledonian Sleeper :)

...because it doesn't run on that route ;)

I would wholeheartedly support this route coming into the game! The most beautiful line in the country!

It runs on the West Highland Line from Glasgow to Fort William, but it doesn't run on the West Highland Line Extension (Fort William-Mallaig).
