I am considering buying a raildriver but I have a question for you guys that already have one. I currently use an XBox controller on a PC but the briefest tap on the trigger can result in as much as a 10 % change in the value on screen. So my question is, do the raildriver levers have finer control than the triggers on an XBox controller for PC. I have tried changing the controller sensitivity in settings but it does not appear to do anything, what is your experience?
I have both and yes, Raildriver is less sensitive than an xbox controller. The nature of the throttle and brake levers on the Raildriver mean that using it is a more analogue experience. I enjoy using the Raildriver more than an Xbox controller. I find it more immersive and enjoyable. Be warned though, TSW2 support for Raildriver is in beta. Not all trains are supported, button mapping is inconsistent between trains and you can't change this yet.
