TSW 2020 has appeared in the leaving soon section of the Game Pass mobile app, so it should be leaving around 15th August. TSW 2 to be added soon after ahead of the RH release maybe?
Interesting thought, and I think it would be a good idea! Especially if you have all the DLCs and can play on Android and iOS devices too!
Sad if it goes completely. I play on PC normally but enjoyed using the game pass version on my iPhone using Xbox streaming service. It worked pretty well. Hopefully TSW2 replaces it. Otherwise I won’t be able to play Train Sim World on the train!
They put tsw 2 on there, both new gen old old gen versions, to entice people to but it, like they did with epic on PC
I was thinking about this the other day, with development stopped on TSW 2020 and a series X/S update for TSW2 it would make sense to pull it from Games pass and maybe replace with a much newer version (TSW2 in this case) also the Windows 10 version of TSW 2020 has 13 achievements you cant unlock!
Hopefully we get finally the TSW 2020 content on sale then like West Somerset Railway and the Oakville subdivision with 50% off
yes I can't remember when WSR was last on sale and they need to build up the base of people who own it as I imagine it will be used a lot for steam content when it arrives in TSW2
Interesting and for me I put hours into that game on Long Island Railroad because it's signaling system it's much easier to learn than Main Spessart Bahn Aschaffenburg-Gemünden PZB and Sifa
Glad I bought it on sale a while ago after relying on Game Pass for a while. Thanks to GP for introducing the game to me. Having it purchased means you get TSW2 versions free (Xbox to Xbox).
I wonder about that, though, because the MS Store/Game Pass version (at least on PC) was never compatible with the Steam version. If they put TSW2 on Game Pass the same problem would apply. ....Unless it's XBox only. Even more diabolically clever, put the XBox One version free on Game Pass, not only to encourage paid-for DLC purchases, but to lead customers to upgrade to the not-free XBox Series version.
I was just thinking that we most likely could not expect sales on that TSW2020 content until it was leaving Game Pass. Well now.
The Series consoles upgrade is free, nothing needs to be paid for, it is not a part of the Rush Hour DLC.
