“Readville is also home to MBTA’s Readville facility and the Readville yard, from which CSX bases its freight services on the south side of Boston.”
    Implying CSX layers?

    Question for stream

Does the ACS 64 have some sort of Cruise control whether that be AFB style or British Speed set, if so is it implemented in game?

One question for stream: Has the timetable been engineered where there would be space for a theoretical Acela layer, or would this require a restructuring?
Otherwise though this looks fantastic, Canton junction looks as I remember it. I only wish it was arriving sooner!

Why are the MBTA coaches so plain and clean on the outside? I thought they would have been a little dirty.

As it looks now, Boston comes first, then Dresden and lastly, Brighton.

Are there any layers for other add ons included on the timetable? For example a freight layer?
Can you please show us the journey, tutorials, scenarios and services in the menu.
What is new with Rush Hour specifically? Can you show us some examples (most importantly passengers I guess)?

Dang off by a week. Oh well I don't win the pot, but only 2 weeks of waiting left for the Series X version. Still good news though and I'm very excited.

Question: Why is the pis modeled innacurately for the route? I saw a screenshot of the pis in that article and that's not how it is in real life. The pis on lirr didn't get a positive response so why do the same mistake again?

I heard along this route there's a certain type of catenary, kinda like the one you’d find in Marseille. Have you guys figured out a way to make double wired catenary yet?

No freight in the base route, but there could be layers. We will know when the stream starts.

As someone who has riden on this line in real life, I can confirm that MBTA trains are never clean.

I think that would've been mentioned by now. Take into consideration EVERYONE buying this route has to have CSX because of base TSW2, so it would make sense to add a mention of it if it was implemented (like ICE3M is mentioned as usable on (No)Nahverkehr Dresden.

Very fair point, and I’m not saying it’s overwhelming likely, just that it’s not known for sure yet. Anyways they did also mention CSX operations in the article so who knows.

I’ll reserve full judgement until at least watching the stream tonight, but a lot of the screenshots in the article look way too sterile, clean and bland (texture wise).

It instantly reminded me of the Arosa Line from Rivet, which is far from a compliment. Some of the textures look too cartoony and cel-shaded in appearance.

Who would've thought pushing out three massive routes (ok, two-and-a-half) with a bunch of new features in a short time is going to make them look rushed (at least from the screenshots). But hey, let's see what the stream has in store for us.

Will ACSES be functional on both the ACS64 and the F40ph? If so, do you plan to make a tutorial to teach people how to use it?

What changes have been made to the ACS-64 from TSW 2020/1? You've said before that NEC will not be carried over from TSW 1 to 2 because of the very incompatible systems, thus I am worried that e.g. the digital displays have lost functionality.

The MBTA car in this screenshot looks atrocious. One bland body/roof texture.

DTG has done far better than this in the past. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Things are going backwards not forwards.

    Where is that stated?
The core update will release with the first Rush hour route as far as we are aware.

Patches are done on Tuesdays, this is a major update, not just a patch.
