Who else thinks the narration on Boston sprinter route on the stream last night sounds like Nat putting on an American accent? I might be wrong but I heard similarities in aspects of the voice. Not saying it's a bad thing, I'm just wondering if anyone else thought it was Nat.
It's my wife, she did the original NEC and the LIRR voiceovers too. Not only is she born-and-bred American, she's also a Massachusetts native, born in Concord and living in Framingham for a long time. She's never really had the accent though (I mean she's lived here for 26 years now so it's softened anyway) - but her mom has a fairly rich Mass accent
I am honestly surprised anyone thought it was me, I can confirm I would have done a terrible job of narrating, especially with a fake American accent on my part.
Btw Matt as you are active in this Thread how is the progress with the RS3L horn for the SD40? for Clinchfield
That stream was a delight and made all my friends laugh for 1: No sprinting on the Boston Sprinter 2: Dovetail actively taking the PIS from their players
I will be going through some old archives as I actually may have some footage of the Tyne&Wear Metro PIS boards, as they can be fairly entertaining sometimes when they bug out. Pretty sure they are stored in a folder alongside videos of the boards inside Transpennine Express services informing us that we'll soon be approaching Piccadilly "where this service terminates passengers".
