In the Brighton Mainline (London Commuter) coming with Rush Hour, we are getting the class 387/2. To bring Thameslink into the game, a class 387/1 would be a nice addition.

Depending on the period, this loco would fit nicely in the bundle and provide the much needed variation with at least recognisable Thameslink services.

The 387/1, could just be a reskined 387/2 which would be significantly easier than creating a new train such as a 319 or 700.

Could you please consider attempting to do a 387/1, we have seen the licence list and that you have a Thameslink licence. It would greatly improve the gameplay if this were added.

    Thanks for the consideration.

I thought that the reason for lack of inclusion was a licencing issue. Would be great to get Thameslink represented.

I think the main reason we haven't got Thameslink - mainly the 700 - is because it itself needs to be licensed. We now know Thameslink is a license DTG have, just seems that the 700 isn't.

In which case the Class 387/1 would fit well. I guess we will have to wait for the Siemens licence to get the Class 700 and other Siemens units.

Nothing about a Thameslink Pack has been confirmed in true DTG style. Unless it is on the roadmap they aren’t working on it. Maybe there are plans for a Thameslink pack, maybe there aren’t. We will have to wait and see.

You could add a Class 377/5 too, which operated alongside the Class 387/1 with Thameslink before the Class 700 took over.
They are identical to the Class 377/4 except for having a pantograph fitted (the interior is also the same, including seat moquette).

I wonder why Siemens would refuse a license when we have the ACS-64 and DB BR 182. Both manufactured by Siemens if I’m not mistaken.

Correct. Likely that the licence does not yet include their latest equipment and needs updating.

Maybe it's due to how new the train is

The 377/5 would be nice if they can’t make a 387/1. Either of these would be a welcomed addition to the route. If the 377/5 has the same interior, it might be easier to add that. But either of these would significantly improve the route.

And where did he say that? They do not 'confirm' packs on stream. They announce them on the roadmap, usually starting In Planning, then when it moves to Production, they announce it via an Article not Matts Word

I like how both of you are just making a mess of this. Formulabee's misread a post, and you're on about a stream. Matt mentioned a theoretical thameslink pack -but specifically stated that's not a promise, and no TL pack was coming.

    Thankyou!

I don’t mean to speculate too much but interesting that it’s mentioned that there would be negative feedback if a DLC didn’t increase service density. I’d be very interested to see a further service increase with a DLC which would be on top of one of the busiest timetables they’ve created so far!

But it’s wishful thinking for now…
