Ok so I have walked the entire line and used a guide to help me. Its taken "Hours"! Guide shows 40 trees and I have 39! Some how I have missed 1! So what is the best way to find all the trees quickly. Other than walking the whole route again. Can I use a loco? How have others collected the tree's. Any help gratefully received.
    Thanks
    Chris

No other way than to walk the route again. I also did this for Koln/Aachen. Can’t wait to try it on BML….

I generally create an end to end route in scenario planner and use the class 08. It’s easy enough to just follow it along with outside camera and stop and jump out when you spot something.

I haven’t done the NTP collectibles because there was no trophy associated with them which was a shame because I think it’s one of the most scenic routes. I must get around to it

Hmm not used the scenario planner to any good success, but I will give it ago, certain saves walking LOL and will be quicker.

Yeah just set a start of Manc and a finish of Leeds, no stops needed in between, then you can trundle along as fast or slow as you need.
I did this on South Eastern High Speed tho and spent hours in a tunnel lol

I was playing NTP last week and I noticed that one of the trees I had already collected (out towards Slaithwaite) had become whole again rather than a chopped up pile.

    Morning All

Big thank you to Tin-Tin_57 (have to ask if that was the year you were born ;) Because I was)

Made the scenario as suggested and used an 08. Found the tree that I have missed hidden behind a bridge i had passed without looking about! So now I have completed all the stuff to search for. Back to driving trains.:D

Must say I am now interested in making up some scenarios to play myself. Have to read up on it further, though this is going to help with other searching for things.

It was interesting not seeing any other trains at all. I suppose I would have to add everything.

I did find the Stalybridge one, but good call, as I did miss it once before (Without the guide).

Good stuff, glad to help. Yes, you can now build another scenario on say NTP with another loco you own such as the class 33 or even the Bakerloo 1972 stock if you wish and you can suspend belief. I think when you select ‘off the rails’ in scenario planner it will pretty much let you run anything anywhere.

No the 57 is just totally random in my case from creating this id for many sites over the years
