I’m just wondering what sort of services others do
I’m more of a stopping passenger train guy

All of the above. I skip from route to route playing whatever I feel like at that moment. I probably do less shunting and depot moves than the rest but all the others are equally catered for in my playing. Out of all the options the only type I haven’t driven in the past three days is a railtour, and that’s only because there aren’t that many of them.

I drive every trainset in the game, as I have them all, and I find all type of runs enjoyable, unfortunately the journeys are all too short, and the scenarios, are too few. Journeys should be at least twice as long, and many more scenarios in every trainset in the future

I mainly do modern commuter and express commuter on UK routes.
I'm not a big fan of freight but will sometimes run a scenario/timetable on TVL.
As much as I like older stock such as the class 31, 45, 47, 101 etc, I'm not a fan of the brakes.

Mainly passenger services, I only do the freight to tick it off on the timetable so I can say I've done it as there's not hundreds of them to complete

I do whatever fits my mood. I feel happy? I do commuter. Sad? Do long distance. To relax? Just drive the ICE. Angry? I quit the game.

Bakerloo was my favourite for some time.
Varied scenery of underground and over ground.
Quite challenging scenarios to get gold because of times and stopping accuracy.
Fast accelerating and braking train keeps you feeling 'immersed'.

Now I'll take on anything! - although I'm still wet behind the ears when it comes to German routes and PZB.

Freight and express passenger, mostly. Anything that doesn't involve a lot of stops under the tyranny of the timetable. I particularly like slow freight: better able to enjoy the scenery from different camera angles. (There is also the physics challenge of taming a long, heavy train)

I play pretty much everything. I find long hauls the least interesting, commuter passenger is the most interesting. I also like shunting activities.
