Hello in the roadmap from the 6th of April, it was announced that there are updates for some preserved routes in the works. One of them was west Somerset. In the last roadmap there was no mentioning of it. Does anybody know what the update is about and when it will be released?
The preservation crew are systematically working through preserved DLC to try and resolve any existing bugs and provide any improvements. I know it was mentioned in a road map stream that level crossings will be working in WSR. As for any other changes, we will not find out until the patch notes are released. There has been a considerable delay between the work being done and then being released, as there is backlog in QA testing. So, as to when this update will take place, who knows.
There are new services for the included trains and static locos dotted around the route, new services layered in for the Class 101 from TVL, lots more loco substitutions from NTP, TVL etc. and working level crossings. Other improvements will be listed in the patch notes when released, which will be next week. We have never been given a full list and only know what Adam talks about in the live streams. Not long to wait now.
