I would like to suggest the Metropolitan line to be added to TSW 2. Route The Metropolitan line is 42 miles in length serving from Amersham and Chesham to Aldgate in the City of London, with branches to Watford and Uxbridge. In addition during peak hours (Southbound in the AM and Northbound in the PM) many services run as 'Fast' or 'Semi-Fast' with trains not stopping at certain stations. All-station services run during off-peak hours and on weekend services. Rolling stock used The S8 stock is used on the Metropolitan line is manufactured by Bombardier are 8 cars in length and Selective Door Operation (SDO) is used at certain stations where platforms are too short. These trains can reach speeds of up to 62 MP/H (or 100 KM/H) in some locations. I think it would be nice to expand on the London Underground with the addition of the Met line (or potentially other Sub-Surface lines such as the Circle,Hammersmith & CIty and District). I'd like DTG to consider this suggestion.
Agree 100% we do need another London Underground route as i enjoyed the Bakerloo Line, but it does get boring after playing as it's either Elephant & Castle to Harrow or the opposite. I think having a subsurface line like the District Line or the Metropolitan Line would be more interesting in regards to the length and different routes i.e District Line Wimbeldon, Edgware Road, Upminster, Richmond and Ealing Broadway using the old stocks C - Stock and the D - Stock
Bring it on and this was a classic train simulator 21 route made by Just Trains with S7 Standard DLC S8. Perhaps they can work on this for TSW2 standard S8 stock. Metropolitan line gets Steam locomotive and electric locomotive those can be DLC titled London Underground Heritage Park
