One question. Assuming that it will NOT be possible to implement the full HMA layering on PS4, would it make sense to implement at least AI trains of the other services (RB, RE, and freight trains)? For those who own the other DLCs, the trains would then at least appear as oncoming or overtaken trains. Reason I'm asking is what Matt said about Boston Sprinter, i.e. that there were 700 trains in the game, but only a fraction of them was playable and the remainder used much simpler physics. I know this would be the second best solution, but I think we all have to respect the technical limits of PS4. What do you think?
The best is for then to get this sorted...HRR has layers and is pretty busy and runs great...but If they cant, this ideia is better than what is in the moment...simply the way it is now i wont be buying this DLC. Ps: Waiting to see if ALL Rush Hour routes are the same in layers...If its not only buying the ones that are...and on sale!
I think the difference between HMA & HRR is how many trains are active at one time, on HMA there will be more than HRR as on HRR it will be faster for a train to exit the map. There is also one less train archetype on HRR (the ICE) and HMA has a substantial amount of assets where as HRR does not.
maybe, but if you follow the map to where the train is it will be there, so if the train does despawn outside of a player radius then it the game must keep it in memory in order to respawn it, and memory is the key issue.
