Download Help Please

Sorry but I am still confused what I need to do for PS5 version.

Went to my game hub this morning and it said download so I am currently doing that, Will that be the update for the PS4 version or does it automatically realise your on a PS5?

if it doesn’t know how do you download the PS5 version as I just can’t see it? Simple instructions please as I’m not that technically minded.

 

The game hub showing update will be for the PS4 version.

You'll need to go into the PS store on the PS5 and search manually for the game.
This will then bring up the versions and add-ons. Check each version and one will say PS5. You can then download it.

 

Thanks for your reply Nick but I found the game in the store but just can’t see or find PS5 version. I’m probably being completely stupid of course but I just see one version that says purchased.

 

You don't need to search on the store for the S5 version, click on the menu next to the play button on the game hub, select "View PS5 version"

 

Thank you now downloading PS5 version but can you also help me with my add ons when it’s finished. I go to the PlayStation store and it shows me the PS4 versions then further down it shows them again with the word Free and the option to download but doesn’t actually say it’s the PS5 version but is it?

 

When you click on the ones that say free and it takes you to the page for that DLC, it will show it as PS5.

For Playstation, if on the PS5 main menu you see the name as Train Sim World 2 | PS4 you are running the PS4 version, and if you don't see | PS4 you are running the PS5 version. To access the PS5 version, click down to Play Game then right to the three dots and from there you can pick the PS5 or PS4 version and it should allow you to upgrade for free. Note that previously purchased DLC may need to be re-added for free from the store for the PS5 version before they download or appear in game. This is because the DLC for PS5 is using higher resolution textures and I guess Sony requires a separate store entry for each version of the DLC.
