I still wonder whether some ALCo shortline here in the Northeast would be kind enough to allow for a recording session, but I guess not... (I actually live pretty close to the Morristown and Erie now, which rosters C424s, 25s, and 30s. Meaning you get ALCo 251B, C, and E sounds). Plus, the ALCo 251F prime mover is still actually available to purchase on its own, and there is a preserved C636 in action.
