Everybody knows what UFOs are... So I decided to name "IFOs" to any "Identified" Flying Objects. As you may know there are on some TSW2 routes: - Peninsula Corridor: It have some jets passing over 2 places. - But most known is Koln - Aachen route, which have the balloons... And the big jet passing over around Koln HBF Sorry this time I have this only picture of it. Please check the red circle over the ICE. But the reason of this post is... Did you noticed there is a third type of flying object on that route?! This: It is a small propeller aircraft!. But it is not only one. Apart from that one on the right side of the train, there are "others" (yes more than one) on the other side of the track. In this case only one is showed, but I saw more in other occasions. I mentioned this, due to this aircraft are not easy to see or even heard as the other ones in the route. I discovered them by chance.
Good spot. I have never spotted those. There's one on Tees valley that took me ages to find too. There's also flocks of birds flying overhead in places on East coast way
Thanks Stephen! I did not have the route you mentioned. Of course there could be other "IFOs" on routes I do not have either. I discovered this one, driving an ICE on snow conditions on that route. So the sky was completely white and I noticed that small darker shape. But also due to I was seeing the train on low position camera but looking up. Lately on another ride I noticed the other similar planes on the other side. As on this part of the route there are higher trees around, it is difficult to see them. Even there is no noise.
