Can anyone else see any pattern in how the trains are ordered in timetable mode? Surely it would make more sense to have them in alphabetical/numerical order, not 766 > 185 > 146 > 425 > 143 etc

Is it maybe locos which have the most services - least services ?

Are they just the order they were installed? I was really pleased when I first downloaded TSW2 on my PS4 because it showed Pen Corridor's F40PH-3 and cab car, Baby Bullet and cab car, and the shunter all next to each other in the list where you can see distances travelled etc. Now I've moved to PS5, I obviously installed things in a different order, so they're all over the place now.

It's always been pretty messed up. On routes with layers from other DLCs, the other locos sometimes show up before the ones that actually belong there.

I always thought it would make more sense to have the locos native to the route first, then loco DLC, then locos from layers, then substitutions.

Matt said on stream the other day it's the order in which they were released...
A simple sort function would be handy, but then you can always just use the search function and limit what it shows

That’s for the routes, there is no search for the loco selection inside a route and they don’t appear in the order they were released.

I think in most cases it's in alphanumerical order - or at least it's supposed to be.

That doesn't seem to be the case in the two screenshots that the OP provided, but I'm not really sure what the fuss is about.
