Hello everyone today I’m suggesting the Wherry Lines.
This route would have a total mileage of 44.1 miles and would include
Norwich to Great Yarmouth (via Acle) 18.4 miles
Norwich to Great Yarmouth (via Reedham) 20.6 miles
    Norwich to Lowerstoft 23.5 Miles

This route has a max speed of 60mph with 14 stations and has enough variety of services to keep it fresh each time you play it. This route also has the station Berney Arms which is currently the least used station in the whole of the England.

    The locomotives:
I’m this era the trains would be
    Class 156 “Super Sprinter”
    79A76437-9D5D-4027-9734-CC805D84E9CF.jpeg
The Class 156 “Super Sprinter” DMU was built for British Rail by Metro Cammell between 1987-1989 to replace older first generation DMUs these ran a majority of the regional services in the Anglia network and so is a perfect choice for this route

    Class 170 “Turbostar”
    6E7516DC-E620-4DBE-93C9-7175BBF8F579.jpeg

The Class 170 “Turbostar” is a DMU built by Bombardier (Previously ADtranz) as replacements to many older DMUs and were built for Anglia Railways between 1999-2000. ONE inherited these trains when they took over the franchise and ran them on both Ipswich-London and Regional services meaning it would be a perfect addition to this route and TSW2.

that’s the end of my suggest, what do you guys think about it don’t hesitate to let me know (also I was very young when ONE operated the franchise so if I missed anything or got anything wrong please let me know)

If this line got built they would have a mix of colour light signals and old style analogues. The signals would be controlled by a load of signal boxes along the line rather than the modern signals which are controlled centrally.
There would also be several manually controlled crossings, a couple with the old style gates which manually cross the road (similar to those recently included in WSR)
The traffic pattern is fairly well spread across the day so it's not the busiest route, but well populated.
If DTG really wanted to push the boat out they could do a transition timetable using the class 37s and coaches which ran the route between the ONE era and the new 745/755 class MUs, which they could do as a completely separate layer or as a mixed layer

TS2021 has the route with the DRS 37s and 170s

Byt yeah, the Wherry lines, whatever the era, would be a fantastic addition to TSW2, the perfect mini-network.

The length is also probably well within the scope of their current projects as well which makes it more achievable I suspect.
