Here is what Nat wrote in another thread:

Although a minor one, yet another miscommunication from DTG. I remember Sam saying on Tuesdays Roadmap stream that if they couldn't preview Riesa-Dresden there would be a general Q&A instead but now it seems there is nothing.

There is little point in another stream if there are no answers.

I thought they were going to do another QaA stream instead of showing off the new preview if they couldn’t fix the situation we are all in.

They replied to someone earlier on Twitter today saying they would share an update ‘soon’

Blame the hard working Devs who do everything they can and call them a shower of s- all you want, it's hardly their fault. They are working as hard as possible to fix this. Comments like this are the complete opposite of what anyone needs.

Whilst I am frustrated with all this, I think there are actually a lot of talented people that work at DTG and they release some amazing work, they just don't seem to be the quickest at fixing things that do go wrong. I do work in IT I hate to say and one thing we do is if something does go badly wrong with a release etc is to give regular updates at specific times to stake holders and customers. Even if its just to say we are still here working on it but no further forward, its just a polite checkpoint to manage peoples expectations. DTG may have explored some fixes and they didn't work out, if that's the case so be it just tell us.

    They specifically did not.

It's a combination of events, clearly. It didn't happen on PC (nearly as much) and Xbox has been fixed. A little patience and you'll have a fix.

Remember they've not carried an Engine upgrade out as an update. Last time it was a whole new game. This is brand new for them, hence why they are asking Sony & other Devs what they have done.

    Xbox has received a patch.

And PS will asap. They can't say when it will be finished as they don't know. When they do say it, they will then know.

Until then, it should be as soon as they can.

im not having a row, just stating the bleeding obvious that its of there creation and at my detriment, to remove paid for content without prior notice or consent is at best poor quality control and rather incompetent. i mean no malice to anyone personally nor do i mean to offend the god like devs who can do no wrong but the ball has been well and truly dropped and i dont think a fix is forthcoming any time soon.

Being antagonistic doesn't help anyone... Your post would have had more meaning if you'd just left the second sentence in your brain.

They also created the game that you are having such a hard time living without in the first place, so y´know, perspective.

I think that’s part of his point. They create to sell - you invest - they break it.

Nothing was broken on purpose. Some problems happened. I was lucky and unaffected on my PS5. I understand why those affected are unhappy. Name calling, being abusive or any other derogatory comments are not warranted though. You haven’t been knifed. You’ll live. Let them figure out what happened and put it right.

not at all am i having a hard time living without, to be honest its probably one of my least played games but the fact content that i have paid for is not accessible (without prior notice/consent) is a red flag and should be a cause of concern for all, and rolling over and excepting smoke and mirror explanations is not a option, due diligence should be a prerequisite.

Obviously not, but it’s still upsetting. Mistakes happen and that’s why testing exists. DTG is just too busy rushing DLC on the market. They are one of the most aggressive publishers of paid DLC and now it backfired.

There are few things more entertaining than someone trying to sound more intelligent than they actually are. It’s the only time you’ll ever see “bleeding” and “forthcoming” in the same paragraph.

They didn't remove it on purpose. As soon as they could they told us what they were doing. They are working on it.

And statements like "god like devs" don't help, you know, at all.

Hello folks. We appreciate things tensions are high at the moment, but please remain civil with each other.

Whilst we're seeing the issues with PS4, it didn't seem appropriate to preview a new stream - it'll be rescheduled to last week. In terms of a Q&A, the latest update is here, posted yesterday. We've been trying to update each 2 days at a minimum where we have something relevant to update.

Ohh so we’ll be getting updates every 2 days, not every day?

If I can ask: How’s everything looking at the moment in terms of fix wise? I know you’ll won’t be able to say much, but is there any indication of how close we are.

They are so proud of their unique model of game-buy the base then spend hundreds on the DLC, but the fact remains that if you expect people to spend 24.99 on a route, it needs to be right, preferably on release. It’s what we, as developers are paid for. I don’t want to speculate why they are constantly recruiting but I would imagine that a higher than average staff turnover has something to do with it. I’m aware we all enjoy what is considered a niche product, however that does not mean that DTG should take advantage of brand/product loyalty and keep on shovelling out iterations that are broken or need constant patching. One day, another similar sim will come to market, and then it’ll be a case of DTG pulling up their socks or another games developer coming along and pulling down their trousers.
