Just post a pic of the biggest station in your city or town. It can even be your local station. Just mention the region. (You can take pictures from Google)

It'll be nice to see how the stations and the architecture changes from different parts of the world.

This is Northwich station, as you can see it's just gotten abit smaller as it randomly self destructed a few months ago, very lucky the platform was empty at the time!

Kingsburg Historic Southern Pacific Depot, my small towns station, hasn't seen a passenger train since the late 1960's. It was restored roughly around the 2010's.

    Photo showing its pre-restoration look.

As far as active stations go, The Ex-Santa Fe Fresno Amtrak Station would be the largest in the area. The Building itself was restored and re-opened in 2005.

Though Fresno's Southern Pacific depot is larger, but not in use.

There's even a steam engine sitting on the rear area of the building! Not many know about it ;)

Local station in my town of Chelsea Michigan. Although it's not serviced by any passenger trains
    [IMG]

As for an actual station that's still serviced by Amtrak, the coolest nearby is Jackson, MI station. It is the oldest continually operated station in the USA and was opened for service in 1873.

Exeter St Davids is the biggest station, though I've always used Central more as it is much better located for the city. Both stations get around 2.5mil pax per year each. St Davids is more the long distance hub while Central is the hub for local services,

    JR Sapporo Station, Hokkaido, Japan.
    satsueki1.jpg

JR Sapporo Tower is part of the complex, and is currently the tallest building in Sapporo (173 meters).
    satsueki2.jpg

The platforms are pretty old and dark, though, in stark contrast with the rest of the building. Nothing to write home about.

Mine is just a high level platform. There used to be a large hub, but was demolished and replaced with a baseball stadium. AmtrakStationNorfolk120213_003.jpg

I'll go with the largest station on my line; Big old Glasgow Central. Glasgow-Central-Clyde-bridge-1035x545.jpg
Also in-game with my (former) local train, the 314! f413a555-07a0-477a-b011-61dfddf7b7e9.jpeg
    In-game picture is mine.

Edit: why do people rate these posts 'helpful'...
