Well I haven't a clue what TSG are up to, but THE mainline diesel was the V 200 (BR 220)

    Or the long-lived V 160 family:

    V200 is iconic.
    Would be a must buy.
    Loved the one in Ts.

We would need a german historical route to run the V200, V320, etc. unfortunately :(:(:(

On the other hand, some venerable 218s (V164s) are still in service, or were as recently as 2017.

    I agree.

    die-103-222-6--103-100766.jpg

Apart from the Br 233 in the middle, I think these two locos are the ones anyone with an interest in German railroading would buy in a heartbeat - the V200 and the Br 103.
On the subject of the V160 family, TSG more or less confirmed that they'll do a Br 218 for Hamburg - Lübeck once that's out. So there's hope.

And it could be layered into MSB as well- since apparently from December 2017 through spring 2018 (IIRC, the setting of that route, or at least when that route was developed and released), 218s ran double-ended with Dostos out of Aschaffenburg

To that add the several variants of the E10/40/41/50 family: THE electric workhorse of the Bundesbahn, even if the 103 got the glamour jobs. (But I still really, really, really want a 103 and a tail of 4um-Wagen in cream-and-crimson TEE livery)

I think most people (including me) would agree with your inclusion of the Br 110/140/150 etc. I would really love a Br 140 for example. I just pointed out the Br 103 in addition to your mention of the V200 since those two are the most iconic German locos and both have a huge following. I think they‘d be among the best selling German content. That‘s not to say I wouldn‘t love to have the real workhorses that didn‘t just pull the fancy trains like the Br 103.

So maybe DTG should be encouraged to look at doing a 1960s retro German line, like they did for BR with the Trans-Pennine....?

Wishlist pick: Munchen to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, about 80 km, and include the spur line Murnau-Oberammergau with its funky little E69 locos.

(But I daresay it would be much, much more economical to take an existing DB route and apply a "time machine" to it.)

Actually the 1960s would be a little to early, for example, the BR 103 was built in the early seventies, So, it would be better to settle it in the late 70s or 80s. Btw. the late 80s have been somewhat like the most colourful era in german railroads, with InterCity,

    InterRegio
    [IMG]

    So called "Silberlinge"

and some other nice stuff like the ETA 150/BR 515 or the VT 98 for example. These days have been somewhat diversified, compared to the nowadays sometimes getting a bit boring Dosto-Mania

It does seem to me that the DBB had character, whereas DBAG is a bit sterile.

Theoretically Dovetail could do what they're doing on GWE, Which is introducing a DLC which backdates the route to the BR blue era, which could come with a rolling stock pack to supply suitable older locos for the same route.

Those screens are made inside UE4 4.23, what is the same version TSW2 uses.

Yeah, I'm replying to myself here. But I thought I would add that that spur line, besides the scenery, the vintage rolling stock and fixed assets (for example, until a few years ago it still used the cool old catenary stanchions from 1905) - you would also at the turnaround get to do the Oberammergauer Rangiermanöver ("Oberammergau maneuver"):

(Yes, that's right: there's a bit of a grade, enough to release the coach's brakes and just let it roll downhill).

I'm looking forward to the Ludmilla. Influenzo's 420 is a favourite in TS20xx, and the G6 too, have that in Ts20xx as well. Some nice N-Wagens and a 218 wouldn't go amiss either. ;)

I just want to confirm that we have no release date or a firm timeframe for this. As it stands, the G6 will not be getting released in 2021

When sharing when you can get your hands on this, we will keep you updated through our official methods. (Forum announcements, TSW2 social posts and articles.)

As a part of process with third party developers, even after development there is plenty we need to organise before we can release.

Just so we are all clear - the work on the loco (including testing) is estimated to be done in a little over a month.
OFF COURSE things can go sideways, stuff needs to be fixed after QA etc. Nobody denies that. G6 could very well get pushed into 2022, but what is the reason you (not specifically you Natt, more like DTG) are so sure it won't make it this year?

DTG have all the schedules and know this stuff. They can’t just slot it in to QA and all that follows at a moment’s notice when the third party has finished it, plans will have to be made for that when it’s done. It’s not going to be pushed back to 2022, it’s more like that 2022 the earliest it can happen even if it all goes well.

Language!! Be careful with what you say.

For the other part of it, i am in contact with the 3rd party staff and they said the community team just have not the correct information yet (or any information as it seems ^^). Be patient. That will be sorted out soon.

Really strange way of communication. I guess there is some communication ongoing between TSG and DTG but wow, I think this an example how it shouldn't be.

Anyway, I can't wait to get the TSG - Addons!

The loco does look nice. I'm not too much of a fan of shunting though, so not sure I'll pick this one up.

Looking forward to the other projects of TSG though.

Would be interesting for all to know what needs to be done, which should take months. We're not talking about an entire line here, but "only" one locomotive.

I don't think this has anything to do with TSG. It is just the way DTG communicates internally. Half the company doesnt know what the other half is doing.

Which the information Maik Goltz was given by the DTG 3rd party team seems to confirm. With no intention of being rude, it seems like there isn‘t much internal communication within DTG between teams at all.
