I've tried searching but have not seen anyone else mention this. When you jump into the CTC-3C cab car and set up the brakes release uncommanded which often leads to a roll away until you can get them recovered. I recorded a video for it - maybe I'm doing something wrong but I do not think so.
Confirmed. Just tried the CTC at Providence, had.the same result. Even stranger, the grade shows its uphill but I rolled backwards,.unless that can be explained somehow by the back of the train being on an opposite gradient.
paul.pavlinovich I'm glad you're more observant than I am. I just wondered why I was rolling away and so just applied power or messed with the brake handle Appears it is a bug then.
I did experience a rollaway, particularly annoying as there's no independent brake in the cab car (which is certainly logical but presumably they must have some form of failsafe in real life for this. The cab car does seem to present a number of very odd behaviors, doing the foundations scenario I seem to have some kind of a dragging brake which drastically limits acceleration and slows down the train when coasting.
Happened to me when I took over a train at Readville. Was in about 60-70 % and the train started rolling away.
I'm glad it's not just me then, thanks heaps folks. I'll submit a ticket today linked to this post. Funnily enough in my sample video I mentioned it doesn't roll away from this station, funnily enough while I was editing the video the train did just that to my amusement. Ticket #NCZ-219-17306 Paul
