    Berlin-Leipzig

Hello TSW Community and Developers in this suggestion I'm going to present you the Route from Berlin to Leipzig
    The Map and the Route
    upload_2021-9-4_19-24-53.png
Here is the map for the route, the only thing is this map only goes to Halle, but otherwise we'll have a lot of stations for regional trains, around Berlin we'll also got S Bahn Services, that could be used and of course ICE/IC services that run on the route at a top speed of 200 km/h. These days the ICEs run on the VDE 8 route but I think this could be a great thing to redo the route from Train Simulator and show the best sides of the route in TSW. A special thing that we would get for the ICEs and ICs would be, that we would get for the first time ETCS level 2 on the route so that would be a new experience than just using LZB. The route has a length of about 150 km

    Rolling stocks

    ICE T (Br411/415)

    upload_2021-9-4_19-33-42.png
Here we have the ICE T (Br411/415), it has a top speed of 230 km/h, it has the ability as the only ICE to tilt by about 8° so that means, that this train can drive about 30% faster in curves. It can be layers on Hauptstrecke München Augsburg and on Bahnstrecke Riesa Dresden.
There is a 7 car train of it and a 5 car train (I think)

    Br481/482

    upload_2021-9-4_19-41-16.png
This is the Br481/482 it is used as the Berlin S Bahn, these could be layered in the Berlin Area and has a top speed of 100 km/h and it, there isn't anything special to tell about it, but it would give a lot more life to Berlin and it is a need for the Route

    Fright services

I don't know a lot about the fright services on the route, but you can suggest anything for fighters
    DLCs
    Br101+IC Steuerwagen

    https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/control-car-for-br101.44172/#post-363099
As DLCs you as the TSW community can suggest under this post what rolling stocks you would like to have on the route

    Extras

An extra wish I would have for the route would be a branch to Potsdam for the S Bahn and co. so that we could drive a longer S Bahn Services

If you have anything to add to this suggestion please let me know, but otherwise I hope you like my suggestion and hopefully this will be a nice future route we could get for TSW 2

Excellent suggestion and what you did was link Berlin and Rapid Transit DLC at Bitterfeld where the ICE 3 AI stops. This route can be sold as a bundle with Rapid Transit as Berlin to Leipzig & Halle route Pack. For Freight DB BR185.0 DB BR152 one of those should be a mixed traffic locomotive BR145 can carry Freight and Dostos. So far seen on DB BR143 family including Hamburg to Lubeck DB BR112 and ES64U2 family from Hamburg-Lubeck & Rapid Transit.

Maybe we could also get the Br120 for the route, as a DLC, the thing is a DLC for a DLC isn't a good concept, we already had for HRR the Br101 DLC, so that's a DLC for an DLC, since rush hour it is a DLC for the new three routes that are now in the main game if you bought them, so it would be maybe only worth to layer it, when we get this train in an DLC with a route, but maybe you have a different opinion about this

ICE T is a very nice train, the most impressive is the tilting capabilities to compensate for high speed. I hope that this EMU can added into future Germany routes.

Maybe some additional information on this route, as there are not only running ICEs/ICs. Starting on the underground platforms at Berlin-Hauptbahnhof,

there will be 3 RE-Lines running alongside the ICEs

    RE3Sued.JPG

The RE3 is operated by DB Regio with DB BR 112 and low-level-entry Dostos, while the BR112 is slightly replaced by the BR 147.
THe RE4 is operated by ODEG with Stadler Kiss.

    Stadler Kiss.JPG

The RE5 is again operated by DB Regio with DB BR 112 and DB Twindexx.

The first stop, Berlin-Potsdamer Platz, would be the first "meeting point" with the Berlin S-Bahn-lines S1, S2 ,S25 and S26. which will be running quite a while along the ICE/IC/RE-services, even though they take a little curve via Anhalter Bahnhof, before meeting up again with the long-distance-trains at Yorckstr, where both leave their tunnels and become overground lines. The next stop for all services will be Berlin-Südkreuz, where these trains where crossed by the Berlin Ringbahn

After the S2 branching of at Priesterweg and crossing the Teltowkanal, the RE will stop again at Berlin-Lichterfelde-Ost, which will be the last station before the RE5 will branch of, and will become only AI driveble.

The LZB will begin at the next S-Bahnhof, Osdorfer Str. . While heading to the next RE-station, Teltow, the S-Bahn will finally branch of to it's own station Teltow-Stadt. By modelling th S-Bahn-branch between Potsdamer Platz and Teltow-Stadt, there will be 15 to 16 km Berlin S-Bahn with 11 stations and an approx. runtime of 24 minutes with the BR 481/482.

At Großbeeren, there is an Container-Terminal, which can be used as start and end for freight runs, as freight trains normally weren't allowed driving on the north-south-axis.

After another 45 km, an a couple of stops in between, the RE4 will terminate at Jüterbog, and every second RE3-service will branch of to Falkenberg, which would also be the destination for some of the freight trains from Großbeeren. The next stop for some of the ICE/IC-services will be at Lutherstadt Wittenberg, where the RE3 finally terminates and the S2/S8 services of the S-Bahn Mitteldeutschland (you already know them from the Rapid Transit DLC will begin and drive to Bitterfeld, Halle and Leipzig.

This northern section of the proposed route can contain around 105 km of track, 26 stations, three ICE/IC-stops, and following different driveable services:

S1 - Potsdamer Platz - Anhalter Bahnhof (every 10 minutes with BR 481/482)
    S2 - Potsdamer Platz - Priesterweg (every 10 minutes with BR 481/482)
RE5 - Berlin Hauptbahnhof - Lichterfelde-Ost(-Großbeeren as AI) (once an hour with BR 112+Dostos or Twindexx)
    S25/26 - Potsdamer Platz - Teltow-Stadt (every 10 minutes with BR 481/482)
RE4 - Berlin Hauptbahnhof - Ludwigsfelde (every second hour with ODEG Stadler Kiss)
RE4 - Berlin Hauptbahnhof - Jüterbog (every second hour with ODEG Stadler Kiss)
RE3 - Berlin Hauptbahnhof - Jüterbog (every second hour with DB BR 112 or DB BR 147 and Dostos, different stop pattern as RE4)
RE3 - Berlin Hauptbahnhof - Lu. Wittenberg (every second hour with DB BR 112 or DB BR 147 and Dostos)
Freight - GVZ Großbeeren - Jüterbog (several services)
Freight - GVZ Großbeeren - Lu Wittenberg (several services)
    ICE/IC- Berlin-Hauptbahnhof - Berlin-Südkreuz (some services)
    ICE/IC- Berlin-Hauptbahnhof - Berlin-Südkreuz(-Großbeeren as AI (some services))
ICE/IC- Berlin-Hauptbahnhof - Lu Wittenberg (once an hour with mostly ICE-T and ICE4, a flixtrain with BR 182)

DB BR147 is exactly identical to DB BR187 despite having a higher Max Speed 160 kmh 100 mph over DB BR187 140 km/h 85 mph. For the Locomotive to be made the easy way is using Skyhook DB BR187 Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen DLC locomotive as the base model. DB BR112 this one or Hamburg-Lübeck

We definitely need a route out of Berlin as it offers a very unique experience for players, im also a huge fan of the services in and out of the elevated platforms of Berlins central station as they are very scenic. Berlin-Leipzig would be an amazing route to have in TSW2 (leaves room for a lot of DLCs afterwards as well).

Fantastic route. 150km is probably too long in development, but middle distance route starting from Berlin will be fantastic

I don't think that long distance routes would be a huge problem, the only thing is, it needs to be developed for about 3 or 4 month, but in the end we would get a great long distance route, but it mostly depends on how many players want this route

It would make a very interesting route!
I hope DTG will be able to make longer routes in the future, especially for high-speed (it's a bit frustrating to have to stop in the middle of your trip)
