after seeing what the Roadmap has Added i cant help but be Excited for both of these routes, not to mention Horseshoe Curve is being made by Skyhook so lets hope its Absolutely Beautiful.
You don't have to put this same comment on every thread related to these routes. I'm personally not a huge US Railfan (especially not freight), but I do remember these from TS, were good to drive along. Interesting Choices.
Excited but same time worried, skyhook can do great scenery but the rolling stock.. Well... Non rotating wheels... Wrong ride height... Let's hope they learned from this
Nope, entered a support ticket and got a response they're aware of it and it might appear on roadmap..
Same for me. Cane Creek is absolutely stunning in terms of visuals, but the AC44 suffers from a lot of issues. Here‘s hoping we‘ll see a patch for Cane Creek before Horseshoe Curve.
Happy to see the route and new us freight routes I am wonder the price it would be cool if you would get it for free but mhm.
The only Skyhook stuff I've played is the Cane Creek one. There's some awful scenery and scenery pop up in that though. Maybe down to the game engine as well but it's really not good in places. Haven't tried it since the Series X upgrade so dunno if that side of it has improved.
Well at least this time if SH adds the sounds of lots of road traffic that not seen it will be hiden by trees perhaps.
I have both these routes in TS2021 and whilst they are good interesting routes, I would have hoped DTG would develop more American passenger routes. I believe both these routes are mainly for freight. Am I right?
Pretty much, Sherman Hill hasn't seen passenger trains since 1983, when Amtrak moved the San Francisco Zephyr to the Moffat Line(And renamed it the California Zephyr) HSC still sees 2 Amtrak trains daily, but its not enough to really include it into the route. (Maybe Layered once the P42 ever gets added)
