Playing the "Wrong Road" scenario and approaching Coswig (running on the "wrong" side of the track") I encounter the Hl signal in the picture below (the top green aspect is not flashing) between Hektometerzeichen 33.2 and 33.4. I read the signal as Hl 2 ("limit to 100 km/h from here, back to track limit after the switches"), what agrees with the signal before being a (flashing green) Hl 4. Track limit should be at least 100 km/h on this track . After a couple of hundred meters more, though, I get stopped by the 2,000 Hz impulse of a set of GPA magnets if I go faster than 65 km/h. Can anyone explain?
Yes, this is indeed a bug and is fixed with the next Patch (The meißen update) Sorry! The GPA there exist to check your speed if your going over the other set of junctions, i forgot to check a checkbox though, so that it ofcause isnt active on this route.
Is it possible that those magnets generally need to be set to enforce a different speed limit (100 km/h instead of 60 or 70 km/h?)? Because when playing the next journey step (chapter 9, first service, "RE15 Dresden Hbf - Hoyerswerda") I think I am coming over the other set of junctions (the track on the far left) and the magnets stop me again when I am going faster than 70 km/h, with the last signal before being also a Hl 2. With a controlled speed limit of 100 km/h the magnets would make sense in both services.
The Magnets can’t normally do that, for different sets of speed they will have different magnets. Because for the speeds the distance between the magnets is different. Those pair of magnets will be fixed with that update.
