Well this is it, the stats for the last Rush Hour route, and what is probably the most anticipated for the three (maybe even the most anticipated TSW route of all time), Brighton Main Line (also know London Commuter), have entered the steamdb:

Release shouldn't be too far now. Going by what was said in the last roadmap, I get the feeling that this route is coming out sometime in October, but we will just have to wait and see.

Hopefully will be amazing as the other two routes are. Brighton is the main one I’ve been looking forward too, especially since I love the electrostars. I find it a bit weird that they choose LBN as the abbreviation, I would off thought BML would of made more sense.

What’s the average delay between the Steam db and release dates?
    Mildly curious.

Dtg seem to be upping their game with each release so this will have to meet high expectations.
Just as long as it’s not snow themed!

It's set in 'summer', snow was done for Boston and night lighting for dresden

    From what I’ve seen, the delay is about 1 - 1 & 1/2 months.

It has been indicated that the space between Dresden and Brighton will be longer than the space between Boston and Dresden, so it could be a good few weeks away yet. Although, I urge DTG to delay the release until ALL obvious issues with the route are resolved.

I don’t want to hear TrainSim-Matt listing a load of known issues that will be fixed on a later date and I don’t want to see obvious issues in the preview streams. As no date has been given yet, please only give a date when there are no obvious issues that will ruin the experience.

Agreed! I’m not even playing the two new RH routes, despite being beautiful, the timetables are a mess and the bugs pilling up.

Hopefully Brighton mainline does not end up like the 313. AKA, In 'Production' for a literal year with no sign of moving up apart from the one time it moved up in the roadmap then instantly went back down again

The Problem with the Class 313 is the implementation in the Route to the best of my knowledge. As TSW2 is currently programmed, a 4-part Train can only be replaced by another 4-part train. I guess TSG will have the same Problem with the DB BR 420

I wonder if they have tried making an invisible car with no collision to go on the end and fool the system that it is a 4 car train.

That's a genius suggestion. Let's hope DTG can run with it.

Even better. do a preview stream and TELL PEOPLE to find the issues. Let the community crawl the video, but allow the dev time to fix / sort out the issues.
Given the Beta team and QA team seem to miss things we find blatantly obvious this would seem a good shout

    Chilling, but as expected.

Be well, and stay safe, especially with your VPN.

kevin.charb81 I have removed an inappropriate post from you - what you shared has no relevance to the Train Sim World community and I will advise you to think twice before posting something like that again.

Great idea actually. More eyes. More issues found. Time to fix.

And eyes that haven't been looking at it with a view to "that'll be fixed later" and more like "Why the hell isn't that working!?"

Well, yes and no, actually. A while back, I recall Brandon saying that the Beta testers catch almost all the bugs. It's probably more a question of whether they're considered important enough to fix. Given that most all of the bugs are also caught after release by the forum community, and often go unfixed, I'm not convinced that any more "crawling the stream video" would enhance the process or improve the quality of the routes.

How could DTG say such things are unimportant if people on the forum are saying they need to be fixed?

It’s not that they are unimportant to fix but there might not be immediate development time to fix the bugs. Also it’s not as simple as people think here is to get fixes in place. Sometimes the fixes are easy but there’s no time to get it in before release, that’s not DTG though - it’s the platform operators. Also some bugs just can’t be fixed. Think Sam sending a TGV into space kind of bug.

Only thing I’m hoping is that the timetable/dispatcher get fixed before this route is released. Timetable from the other two have shown there are some issues there, although not sure what has suddenly caused these issues.

Oh goodness, where to begin. There are many issues that have been raised on the forums as important to members going back months and years that remain unfixed. One example would be American loco horns, another would be various sound and lighting issues.
I would imagine DTG have a triage system and bugs are considered more or less important. Forum members do not make those distinctions/decisions.
