With the release of Boston sprinter and recently Dresden, Brighton mainline is next. So what are you looking forward too and what do you wish was added to give it a better experience.

I just hope that Brighton follows what they've done with Dresden and really packs in every available train. The array of options adds life and variety to the route like nothing else, so I'd love to see any of the existing trains we have from GWE and SEHS (plus the forthcoming EC DLC when it arrives) all make an appearance where realistic/possible.

With regards to Clapham Junction I’ve set my expectations to very low.

Posted this in another similar thread, but thought it might be relevant hear too:
Having a busy route with loads of red and yellow signals, bringing exciting gameplay.
    - Seeing loads of AI, would be great, especially at Brighton if the ECW layers are included.
    - Having a wide variety of short, medium and longer services ranging from 10 minutes to more than an hour with different stopping patterns across the whole route (there's roughly about 30 stations on the route). For example, would be great to operate metro services stopping at all the stations between Victoria and East Croydon, then drive a fast service to Brighton etc. Also, maybe a bonus of using a 313 layer for the Brighton-Hove shuttle if the latter station is included.
    - Attach and divide of services.
    - Having the Class 387.
    - Having some depot services.
    - Inclusion of the GWR 166 between Redhill and Gatwick, plus AI Southeastern at Victoria.
    - Having some freight included.
    - Having 377/1 numbers, makes it feel more authentic.
    - Finally, will be brilliant to drive on my local route.

There's not really an alternative without having the correct rolling stock. Think of the positive though, out of the 50+ miles of track, Clapham Junction will pass pretty quick with the South Western and Overground lines diverging. If Victoria gets AI Southeastern, then I won't be as fussed if we have a quiet Clapham Junction.

The only thing I really hope for (realistically) is a 700 DLC.

Clapham having AI would be nice but until - if we ever do - we get a SWR/SWT route, we're stuck with Southern & GX.

As for the 455, 456 - basically just the "Metro" stock, that would be good for South London Network - a route I was rather fond of on TS, which would be brilliant for TSW, especially because of how busy it is.

The old GX Stock - 460, 442, etc. Would also be good to see in a Timetable set a few years ago, maybe throw a 319 in as well.

Anyway, I'm getting a little carried away with it.

A 700 would be brilliant to see.

DTG will often slip in an unannounced Railtour on UK routes so I'm hoping a nice loco-hauled Railtour will be included, Would love to thrash a Western or 47 down the BML.

I'm interested to know this: with Boston they improved 'winter' and dresden was the nightlighting. So what have they planned for Brighton?

I also wonder if it will be weather-related. For example, dynamic summer weather where you are driving in clear conditions before it then it changes to thunderstorms. it's not a typical British summer without rain.;)

Out of curiosity, how busy can the Brighton Mainline get during rush hour? I take it that, it’s about as busy as Dresden route, which is good but, my Xbox one is showing its age and starting to crash quite a bit on recently released Dresden route.

BML runs practically at Rush Hour levels most of the day, so to sum up it should be in theory the busiest route ever released on TSW by far. While I've not bought Dresden, wasn't it mentioned in previous streams that more memory is used if more locos layers are present as opposed to the busy timetable itself, hence the crashes? Conversely, with just two main rolling stock included on BML, hopefully performance would be better than Dresden.
