This is a suggestion of Sydney Trains T8 Line. Firstly, Sydney Trains is a commuter railway network serving the city of Sydney, Australia. I am only suggesting Sydney's T8 Line, which runs from the City Circle and Central to Macarthur via Sydney Airport. This line connects with the T2 & T5 Lines at Glenfield, which run services to Leppington. It runs alongside the T1 and T9 Lines between Central & Wynyard, the T4 Line between Central and Town Hall and with the T3 & T2 Lines around Sydney's City Circle, the core of Sydney's Train Network. We could have some AI Waratah & Tangara trains on the T1, T9, & T4 Lines. There is also a bypass line of the T8 Line, which bypasses the airport entirely and runs alongside the T3 Line between Central & Sydenham and with the T4 Line between Central & Wolli Creek. Central Macarthur The rollingstock we could have with this route are the Waratah A & B Sets and M Sets. Waratah A Set Waratah B Set M Set
I cannot back this enough. This is probably the closest I would get to having my local route included in TSW. (I am on the Southern Highlands Line). I think it would be an awesome addition. We would get the airport, it would have a bypass line for some variety, it would include the City Circle. I would absolutely love for the T8 line to be added.
For some added info, Central to Macarthur is about 56 kilometres, plus the City Circle and the airport bypass for a few extra kilometres.
It could also include the Leppington branch and or the Eastern Suburbs branch, although that would require more rolling stock.
As the first line that most tourists interface with, in a very popular city for tourists I think the T8 featuring the airport would make a lot of sense. I've added it to the list of Australian proposals found here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/australian-proposal-suggestion-master-list.41526/
You know if you're just gonna comment on how much you hate everything everyone else wants this is gonna become a very hostile board for you. Trust me, no one wants that.
Mate I could criticise the ever loving daylights out of Chinese trains. At least you have routes in TS
Very useful comment, the train looks ok but the design is not a priority as it’s more into carrying people and secondly it’s not slow but not fast as a TGV because it’s not intended to reach high speed but to act like a commuter train…
Yeah a commuter trains with many stops on the line it’s not an express train which can stay on an average high speed on most of the line
