Purchased a route that did not have any inbuilt standard scenarios
So I thought I'd have a go at my own using WCML over Shap
I'm getting the hang of it (slowly)
but during two test runs the game ends with "collision beteween two AI trains"
Surely there is a safeguard against this, or have I missed an instruction?
    Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Change the Service Class of the AI trains. If you change them to something lower than Special, By doing that, they should run into red signals that should prevent them from crashing.

When you are in the timetable view, is there an 'x' at the bottom. If so that means there is an error with one of the services.
For example.. It maybe that it changes over one crossover and then changes back a little bit down the line and that is affecting another service that should be on that line.

Scenario creating is a lot of trial and error, a collision may happen eventhough it never said they would in the timetable view. In that case make a note of the two that are crashing and follow their paths in the timetable view and see if they are colliding at any point.

If you don't want to build your own scenario always can give a go at convert the scenario from Career to Standart with RWTools it's great

Installed that thanks, not sure how to use it yet but may be able to figure it out.
Would it be possible to have an Exel sheet that would show up any clashes?

Not really - the excel sheet would not be able to work out where the problem is and you cannot extract anything from the game in to excel

When you get an AI Collision you briefly get a message on the screen with the location and the trains involved.
Quickly push the Windows Key and PrtScn and it will take a picture of the whole screen
It saves the picture as a Screenshot in C:\Users\yourname\Pictures\Screenshots
That will tell you the two trains involved
You can now go in to the Scenario Timetable which will show you the problem
You will either need to adjust or delete one of the trains
