New Haven Horns

That and I must say the air horns on the New Haven GP9s is beyond lame, it sounds like someone stuffed a sock in the horn bell. How many grade crossing accidents did that company have because no one could hear that soft horn?

For some reason you seem to think the sound generated by the GP9 in the New Haven route is the same as the real locos?

 

Dunno, seems not too wrong to my ears. Maybe a touch on the quiet side.

 

I think the "touch on the quiet side" is what the OP is complaining about

 

New Haven used the Hancock Air Whistle on alot of stock, which is fairly accurate
