Sorry If This Is A Stupid Question

Since the core update operations shift has appeared in the control guide . Does it actually work on PS4 as I have no idea how to get it going as I would especially like to use the dpad for short cuts. I have tried Googling it but have seen nothing

 

On the D-pad, you still need to switch AFB on by clicking on the switch control on the train's console. If you have a keyboard attached, it would be Ctrl-R to switch on then you can control via the D-pad.

 

hey, yes it does work

on PS4 / 5 you hold down square, and then the corresponding shift function you want from the Dpad

for camera shift, you hold down the right stick and then cycle through the external cameras using Dpad right, or internal cameras using Dpad left

R1 and R2 would usually increase/decrease throttle, but if you hold Square and press them they increase/decrease AFB. You also have Square plus Right on the D-Pad for PZB release which is very useful when you mess up and it’s pitch black haha!

 

This is going to make things easier. It’s difficult altering AFB while trying to keep an eye on the signals at Dresden Riesa .
